Mia Kyriacou – Beginner Commercial & Heels Teacher
Mia, a beloved member of the C.E.D family since 2018, transitioned from student to teacher in 2022.
Her dynamic teaching style and welcoming presence have made her dance class for beginners a safe haven. Mia’s passion lies in creating a space where students feel accepted, confident, and free from anxiety.

Liberty Kane – Commercial/Hip-Hop All Ages Teacher
Mostly known as Libby, one of C.E.D’s original students from its inaugural class in 2017, became an official teacher in 2024.
Her journey from student to teacher reflects her deep connection to C.E.D’s values. Known for her vibrant energy and ability to connect with students of all ages, Libby’s classes are a favourite among kids and adults alike.
Libby's passion for dance makes her an invaluable part of the team.
Eden Kane – Contemporary All Ages Teacher
Eden’s journey with C.E.D began as a young student in 2018, and her evolution into a teacher in 2024 has been remarkable.
Over the past year, Eden has built a safe, inspiring environment where her students can express themselves freely through contemporary dance.

Maddie Ward – Jazz All Ages Teacher

About C.E.D Studios
Our Story
In 2017, Commercial Edge Dance (CED) took its first steps into the world, offering a fresh and dynamic approach to commercial dance in East Sussex. What began as a small endeavour to keep adults and kids engaged and safe from harm quickly became a vibrant community hub.
Founded by Oliver Large, who has been dancing since he was three years old, CED. was born out of a desire to find fulfilment through dance in a new and impactful way.
Our Founder
After a successful dance career featuring in various music videos and serving contracts on cruise ships, Oliver felt a calling to create something more meaningful. During his final cruise ship contract, Oliver realised that his true passion lay in performing, teaching and building a community through dance.
Commercial Edge Dance was established in a college dance hall, starting with a humble class of just five students. From those modest beginnings, we've grown into a thriving dance community; the rest is history.
